For us, this work is personal.
Long before Ohio Energy Advocates existed, our family was farming, raising kids, and building a life on the same hills, fields, and backroads that make up Eastern Ohio today. These aren’t just counties on a map, they’re home. They’re where our grandparents worked the land, where our parents built their lives, and where our own children now run, play, and grow.
The photos here are pieces of that story, the barns, tractors, porches, and pastures that shaped who we are. They represent generations of hard work, stewardship, and respect for the land. And they’re the reason we advocate the way we do.
We don’t approach landowners as clients. We approach them as neighbors.
We know what it feels like to protect a family property. We know what it means when a company knocks on your door with a lease. We know the weight of making decisions that affect your land for decades.
That’s why OEA exists, to make sure families like ours are never outmatched, never misled, and never pressured into signing something they don’t fully understand.
